Kruger

Kruger is now a 3 year old, healthy, mischeavous Rotweiler. He was trained by Guy over a period of around 3 to 4 months, starting when Kruger was about 4 months old.

Guy started by teaching Kruger basic obiedience. These are the things we all want our dogs to do on command. Sit, stay, lie down, and the ever elusive 'come'. Walking on a leash and being nice around other dogs was also important. (Especially when you are a 110lb Rotweiler!).

The program had Kruger staying with Guy 100% of the time initially. Then, as time went by, Kruger came home for weekends and was gradually integrated back into our family. An important part is that Guy also trained us in how to handle our dog, and gave great insights into dog behavior and psychology that still help us now.

Kruger still stays with Guy every once in a while to get a "top up" on behaviour and we are a great fan of Guy's community classes that we go to occasionally. These are great social outings for Kruger where he can meet and play nice with all kinds of other dogs.

We have a truly fantastic experience working with Guy and his private training, as well as his community classes. We would recommend, without hesitation, his services to anyone who wants to get the most out of their dog.
